Shirley Ann Drollinger

Shirley Ann Drollinger, age 92, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday January 3, 2024 in Idaho Falls Idaho.

She was born on May 2, 1931 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Kenneth Brown and Mamie Campbell. She was the middle child of three girls. She grew up and attended schools in the Idaho Falls area.

In 1948, She married Victor Wheeler. They had 2 children together, Vickie and Randy. They later divorced.

In 1963 she had another daughter, Bobbie.

Shirley married Dale Drollinger in 1970. With that marriage she gained a bonus son, Allen, who she shared a close relationship with. Shirley and Dale also adopted one of their grandsons, Brent.

They lived on and managed Conant Valley Ranch in Swan Valley, Idaho for many years. They enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, canning, and farming together. They later made their home in Idaho Falls.

Shirley was a homebody and really just enjoyed being with her cat, Toby. You could always find her at her kitchen table with a cup of coffee or iced tea, and a cigarette. She will be remembered by her funny, witty, and blunt personality.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Judy) Wheeler of Rigby, Idaho, Vickie Mckinney of Shelley, Idaho, Brent Drollinger, and Allen (Linda) Drollinger of Hyrum, Utah; 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; her husband, Dale Drollinger; her daughter, Bobbie Beverly; and three grandsons, Chad Wheeler, Brian McKinney, and Robert McKinney.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Nicole Kenney for several years of care, concern, and home health services.

No funeral services are planned at this time.
